Alan Rei Wilmeth was born in Sant’Elpidio a Mare, Italy, on May 8th, 1976.
Always passionate about photography and cinema, he studied Computergraphics at IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) in Milan, then worked as a graphic designer and later as a freelance photographer and assistant photographer for several international studios and firms, specializing in digital development and color correction, before returning to the Marche region in 2013.
His interest for traveling, especially in Japan, where he constantly found inspiration since his first trip in 2004, an eye for new technologies and new technical skills, a strong spirit of observation, combined with his curiosity, the desire for innovation and the pursuit of continuous professional growth, led him to experiment with techniques and constantly search for new images, giving evidence of remarkable eclecticism in the choice of subjects and artistic talent in their representation.
He currently lives and works in Porto San Giorgio (FM), Italy.
